Kentucky State Parks is pleased to offer an opportunity working on a beautiful park in historic
Springfield, Kentucky. We are currently accepting applications for an Auto Technician I to join and work withthe Park’s Golf Maintenance Department at Lincoln Homestead State Park. If you are a team player and enjoy repairing golf carts, mowers, and a variety of other mechanical and automotive equipment then this position might be for you. This is a full-time position, offering numerous benefits with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintaining all equipment; inspecting both diesel and gas operating equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and maintaining logs.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Maintaining parts inventory.

Minimum RequirementsEDUCATION: High school graduate.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR
SKILLS:
Must have two years of automotive and/or equipment repair technical experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for
EXPERIENCE:
Vocational or technical school training in automotive/truck repair or a related area will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Must possess a valid driver's license prior to employment in this job classification.
