About the Role:
As a CBRE Mobile Building Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of our Healthcare portfolio in Denver, CO. You will support a diverse range of medical offices, urgent care centers, and family clinics. This position offers the unique opportunity to manage critical systems across multiple locations, ensuring clinical environments remain safe, functional, and compliant. You will be provided with a company vehicle and compensated for your travel time from the start of your shift.
What You’ll Do:- Travel to and maintain a portfolio of 8 total sites across Lakewood, Arvada, Golden, and Westminster.
- Provide primary maintenance support for a large medical campus in Lakewood (typically 3-4 days per week).
- Perform comprehensive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, and life safety systems.
- Execute routine preventive maintenance programs to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life cycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues, including filter changes, coil cleaning, and climate control adjustments.
- Manage electrical repairs, such as troubleshooting outages and replacing fixtures.
- Address plumbing needs, including leak repairs and fixture replacements.
- Complete general facility repairs, including drywall patching and touch-up painting.
- Conduct monthly generator testing to ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Maintain meticulous documentation for all code compliance, inspections, and work order activities.
- Review assigned work orders, estimate necessary time and materials, and manage inventory of supplies and tools.
- Oversee compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and internal safety directives.
- Attend monthly team meetings in Westminster to ensure alignment on operational goals.
- Operate a company-issued vehicle for daily travel between sites.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
- Work within broad guidelines and policies.
- Explain difficult or sensitive information.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Proven experience in building operations, facility maintenance, or a related trade.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems within a commercial or clinical setting.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
