Position:Facility Technician
The YMCA Ayrlawn Program Center is looking for a dependable and hands-on Part-Time Facility Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, functional, and welcoming environment for children, families, members, and staff.
Responsibilities- Perform routine facility maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and grounds and report safety or maintenance concerns.
- Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Set up and move furniture, equipment, and supplies for programs and events.
- Maintain maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Support cleaning, safety, and general upkeep of the facility and grounds.
- Assist with urgent or emergency facility needs as required.
- Follow YMCA safety policies and applicable health and safety regulations.
- Previous experience in facilities, building maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of building systems and general repairs.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
