Alto Tavares is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our warm, welcoming senior living community. With consistent morning hours done by 3:30pm — and a team that genuinely values your contribution — this is a housekeeping role worth staying in.

• Clean and maintain resident apartments, common areas, and community spaces to the highest standard
• Ensure all areas are consistently fresh, clean, and welcoming for residents, families, and visitors
• Follow infection control and sanitation protocols throughout every shift
• Restock supplies and report maintenance concerns as needed
• Be a warm, respectful presence to residents and families throughout your shift

• Prior housekeeping or senior living experience — preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness
• Dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in a job done right
• Warm, professional demeanor around residents and families
• No certifications required

Full-Time | 7am–3:30pm | Done by 3:30pm | Housekeeping Experience Preferred

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in as well as to clean occupied apartments on a weekly basis or as scheduled, follow the cleaning schedule outlined for the cleaning of the common areas of the Community, and assure that the highest degree of cleanliness is always maintained.

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply. Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized. Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace, associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

• Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.
