** Housekeeping Assistant
*** Part Time 8 hours bi-weekly
* Every other weekend 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM
* Provide cleaning services including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping floors, washing windows and other duties as assigned.
* Clean Resident Bedrooms and bathrooms as assigned.
* Clean common areas and offices as assigned.
* Collect and dispose of trash.
* Report any repairs or concerns to the Director of Facilities.
* Complete tasks according to the Quality Assurance checklists and document.
* Read the communication log prior to each shift and communicate within the Housekeeping Department at the end of each shift, as needed.
* Be familiar with and abide by the WMH policies and procedures.
* Participate on the Safety Committee as assigned.## Qualifications
* Ability to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
* Ability to patiently, tactfully and enthusiastically deal with personnel, residents, family members, etc., to all types of situations.
* Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
* Ability to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
* Ability to learn new methods and willingly incorporate them into existing practices.
* Ability to complete tasks assigned for each shift and document on the daily shift check list.
