Position: Professional Facilities Cleaner (Weekend - Cool Springs)
Location: Northern

Job Purpose

This role will be 10 hours/week on the weekends, so 5 hours on Saturday, 5 hours on Sunday.

This role will support several large multi-unit buildings in a defined territory. Responsible for cleaning buildings, removes debris, and keeps areas in orderly condition.

Principal (Essential) Duties

Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Provide proper sanitation of all high touch surfaces including elevator buttons, door and drawer handles, tables, keyboards, kitchen, and bathroom sink handles, etc.

Maintain clean floors and ensure proper signage when floors are wet. Assure floor mats are in place and clean where required.

Ensure all buildings are stocked with sufficient cleaning supplies and they are available for tenant use including disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, paper products etc.

Dust mop, spot mop, sweep, and vacuum the main lobby, building common areas, the stairwell, and restrooms. Clean building elevators, empty trash and maintain overall cleanliness of the facility.

Clean all glass, windows, and mirrors in the building.

Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and ensure properly stocked with materials.

Ensure visibility and timely responses to tenants.

Secondary Duties

Contribute ideas for company cost savings or income generation.

Participate in all staff development, training, and meetings as required.

Develop, monitor, and update PRDs on an ongoing basis.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED required. Demonstrated related experience may substitute for preferred education.
Minimum of one (1) year of janitorial experience in commercial real estate required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to:

Travel up to 50% beyond designated office.
Perform light work – exerting up to 10 - 15 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Exposure to cleaning supplies and agents.
See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push, and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
May include weekend and holiday hours, as necessary.
