The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of the facility, building systems, material handling equipment, and related infrastructure. This position provides day-to-day leadership and coordination of facility maintenance activities, preventive maintenance programs, repairs, inspections, vendors, contractors, and facility-related projects.

The Facilities Supervisor partners closely with the General Manager, Operations, Safety, and other site leadership to minimize equipment downtime, maintain a safe and functional work environment, and ensure facility and equipment needs support operational requirements. This position is responsible for identifying facility risks, prioritizing maintenance needs, coordinating resources, and ensuring work is completed safely, timely, and in accordance with DSV standards and applicable requirements.

• Oversee daily facility and maintenance activities to support safe and uninterrupted warehouse operations.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for facility systems, equipment, and material handling equipment.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and building walks to proactively identify maintenance needs, equipment concerns, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee the condition, maintenance, and repair of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, dock equipment, doors, racking, fire/life-safety systems, and other facility infrastructure.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for material handling equipment and other operational equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, batteries, chargers, and related equipment as applicable to the site.
• Review maintenance requests and work orders, establish priorities, coordinate resources, and monitor work through completion.
• Troubleshoot facility and equipment issues and coordinate appropriate internal or external resources for repairs.
• Serve as the primary site contact for facility-related vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Obtain estimates and coordinate vendor scheduling, access, repair work, preventive maintenance, inspections, and other contracted services.
• Monitor vendor and contractor performance to ensure work is completed safely, timely, and in accordance with established expectations.
• Maintain accurate facility maintenance records, inspection documentation, work orders, service records, preventive maintenance schedules, and other required documentation.
• Utilize applicable maintenance tracking systems or CMMS tools to monitor work orders, preventive maintenance, asset condition, and repair history.
