CDL Driver & Technician

White Oak Oil & Gas has an immediate position for experienced Quality Control Personal.

A technician with a CDL-A will be responsible for re-tubing and cleaning heat exchangers, fin fan coolers, and both rebuilding and constructing new louvers, both in the shop and on-site. This role involves documenting job details and adhering to all safety and DOT regulations. The position often requires fieldwork, with frequent overnight travel, and typically returns home weekly. You will be exposed to outdoor elements while performing the following tasks:

Follow designated routes and adhere to time schedules

Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate the delivery vehicle

Provide delivery tickets to customers and ensure they are signed upon return

Complete daily DOT logs and reports

Comply with DOT regulations and safety standards

Observe all traffic laws and regulations

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Essential Duties for Shop Hand:

Re-tube and dismantle coolers, including:

Obtaining JSA and Hot Work permits

Removing louvers, grills, or piping

Installing skillets or blinds

Tack-welding the heads on Cutting braces and pulling plugs

Removing tubes using chisel guns and cutting torches

Knocking out tubes with a knocker gun Washing out the heads (dry and paint in-shop; blow water out in the field)
Installing tubes by:

Sliding tubes into the heads

Rolling the tubes on the non-gap side Reinstalling plugs and braces

Cutting heads loose and performing hydro tests

Removing plugs to drain and taking out blinds/skillets

Installing louvers, grills, or piping

External cleaning, including foaming and power washing fins Internal cleaning, such as setting up and inspecting the hydro blaster, lancing tubes, and breaking down the hydro blaster

Cutting tubes, measuring, and using a chop saw Building and dismantling scaffolding

Traveling 75% of the time Maintaining accurate T-Sheets by clocking in and out of appropriate jobs Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned, while working in varying outdoor conditions (rain, sleet, snow, heat, cold).

• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
• Must maintain CDL License and must be free from any traffic citations
• Able to read a tape measure and understand measurements
• Must be honest, knowledgeable, punctual, and detail oriented
• Must be able to pass all safety courses
• Must have a clean driver’s record
• Must pass a DOT physical
• Must maintain a good driving record
• Must be able to drive a DOT vehicle
• Must know how to drive trucks, pull trailers and back up trailers
• Must be willing to learn new things
• Must be able and willing to travel
• Must be willing to work flexible hours
• Must be able to use hand tools
• Must have and maintain all tools
• May need to purchase other tools not on the list, to be able to perform your job duties; the tool list is just a beginning list.
• Must be able to move from lead to teammate as specific job requires.

Important notice:
1. CDL A Driver’s License must be maintained without: DUI, DWI or reckless driving convictions.

All moving violations and accidents must be reported to HR with-in 1 working day (the day you receive a ticket). This position requires the capability to drive DOT.
2. All safety courses must be passed and maintained. This position requires up-to date safety courses.
