The Jack Driver is responsible for moving product in and out of the coolers/freezers and to different areas in the plant with an electric/manual jack, performing daily maintenance tasks and special projects such as repairs, installations, and adjustments to machinery and equipment.

• Move product in and out of the coolers/freezers and to different areas in the plant using an electric or manual jack.
• Perform daily maintenance tasks and special projects: repairs, installs, and adjustments of machinery and equipment, parts replacement, routine and preventive maintenance.
• Read and understand English and identify items on paperwork.
• Communicate verbally with supervisors and associates.
• Be trained to use an electric jack safely.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct number and type of product is loaded and transported to the necessary area.
• Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment; stencil, tag, or mark orders as requested.
• Repack and weigh orders that require such handling when necessary.
• Report quality variances.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Constantly walk throughout the plant picking and delivering products.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs; work in a damp and cold environment; bend, stand, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
• Be willing to work overtime and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
