Utility Worker – Part-time

Kingman, AZ

Scheduled Days: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

Starting Hourly Rate: $17.00 per hour

Overview

Impact Workforce Solutions is hiring for True Value Distribution Center in Kingman, AZ. The Utility Worker performs various manual labor activities that may include sweeping and cleaning floors and work areas, picking up papers and refuse from grounds, heavy lifting and moving materials, making minor repairs, mowing lawns, and shoveling snow. Performs janitorial activities, such as cleaning, dusting, washing windows, moving, and polishing furniture and equipment.

Responsibilities

Performs physical upkeep of warehouse and general office areas.

Maintains floors, hallways, stairways, and carpeted areas in the facility in a safe, well maintained, and clean condition, removing obstacles, debris, spills as needed.

Operates a variety of manual and automated cleaning equipment.

Performs basic maintenance on the grounds around the facility.

Works as part of the team to manage spills, hazardous material issues and other work‑related safety issues.

Education & Experience

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
Basic reading ability is required.
Knowledge of general safety procedures and measures.

Physical Requirements

Balancing, climbing, crouching, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, seeing, sitting, standing, stooping, talking, typing, visual acuity, walking.

Work Environment

We are seeking candidates for a job at our regional distribution center. This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, potentially in extreme temperatures. The work is physically demanding and requires the ability to access all areas of the facility. The position may require working long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Please note that the job may involve working in areas without air conditioning and exposure to chemicals commonly found in our warehouse facilities.
