This is an operations‑role position that primarily supports the coordination of maintenance work with internal Eastman and outside contractors for the Technology area. This role serves as interface between operational groups in the buildings to ensure maintenance and upkeep of the property is performed in a safe manner.
Responsibilities- Process work requests, by meeting with requestors and ensuring accurate work requests.
- Initiate SAP work orders for maintenance, cleaning, HVAC, or other needs.
- Approve and accept the maintenance work results (operations approvals) for building equipment.
- Prepare and/or manage safe work permits (and any other needed permits), task sheets, MOCs and LOTOs.
- Identify maintenance needs and work with maintenance forces to establish priorities and schedules.
- Coordinate shutdown maintenance, vessel inspections, and relief valve repair.
- Prepare equipment to be repaired or otherwise altered by maintenance.
- Work with HSE to investigate any facilities‑related HSE issues.
- Communicate any shutdowns or facility outages to the occupants in a timely manner.
- Inspect the facility for safety or maintenance issues.
- Maintain the overall building appearance including yards & grounds, roofs, temporary havens, assembly points, conference rooms, etc.
- Responsible for managing the docks and storage areas, along with coordinating the Service Workers in and around Technology.
- Prefer Eastman Maintenance Coordinator experience.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety.
- Be capable of providing clear and concise verbal and written communications.
- Possess and practice good organizational skills.
- Be a team player.
- Have, or possess the ability to learn, a general knowledge of the division, safety and regulatory requirements for the division, basic computer skills, and become knowledgeable of a variety of software packages including corporate systems, i.e., Microsoft Office products, Intranet, SAP, computer dispatch system, etc.
- Be able to accept and provide constructive feedback.
- Must demonstrate a working knowledge of building services and related equipment.
