The Impact You Will MakeThe Cemetery Groundskeeper is a dedicated, reliable, and hard‑working individual who understands the importance of detail and providing the highest level of service to our customers. This role is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of the cemetery grounds as well as ensuring safety and security for employees and visitors.
- Perform all landscape maintenance duties such as weed‑whacking and lawn mowing.
- Maintain equipment and machinery in safe working order.
- Assist with funeral services and cemetery operations.
- Operate machinery safely and following safety protocols.
- Install or assist with the installation of cemetery vaults.
- Install headstones or memorials when required.
- Handle day‑to‑day general maintenance duties.
- Perform snow removal (if applicable).
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.

- High school equivalency required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
- Ability to read and execute memoranda and directives from supervisor or management.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Salary$15.00 per hour
Salary DescriptionThe pay range is based on a wide range of factors, including skill set, experience, training, licensure, and other business needs, and is adjusted for geographic differentials where applicable. Compensation decisions are made on a case‑by‑case basis.
