Position: Maintenance Supervisor – Night Shift

Maintenance Supervisor – Night Shift

Location:

Kinston, North Carolina

Salary: $80K – 100K plus bonus

Job Summary of the Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor:

The successful candidate will take charge of overseeing maintenance tasks for critical equipment, utilities, and facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and minimal downtime. By supervising key processes, you will play a vital role in maximizing production output and enhancing overall facility performance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor:
  • Lead maintenance teams in predictive and preventative maintenance efforts as well as machine repairs.
  • Supervise maintenance processes and documentation to maintain high performance levels.
  • Collaborate with Production to schedule maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently.
  • Implement maintenance systems such as Prevention and Predictive Maintenance to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failures. Monitor and report on performance.
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for maintenance performance tracking.
  • Update maintenance management team on a regular basis.
  • Ensure compliance with USDA regulations for maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory.
Education & Experience Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
  • Experience in leadership roles and providing training or mentoring preferred.
  • Proficiency in technical skills related to maintenance tasks is a plus.
  • Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • May require flexible work hours and weekends.
  • Advanced technical skills in various maintenance fields and experience in resource planning are highly desired.
  • Extensive knowledge of maintenance systems and processes is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills are preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with others.
  • Bilingualism is a plus.
