Seiler Instrument is looking for a Custodial Lead to oversee and support the daily upkeep of our facility. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in problem‑solving, values teamwork, and takes ownership of the job. The right candidate will have experience in custodial operations, and light repair work, with the ability to support a small team. Shift Time: 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM

- Ensure daily operations and janitorial needs are met efficiently.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to the maintenance and custodial team.
- Monitor facility needs for improvement and communicate concerns.
- May assist with minor HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Maintain the building’s exterior, including occasional landscaping needs, snow removal, and general upkeep.
- Handle basic repairs such as painting, fixing light fixtures, and general handyman tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
- Support and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Work in varying seasonal conditions, indoors and outdoors as needed.
- Assist with inventory and ordering of necessary supplies.
- Communicate with management regarding facility needs and improvement opportunities.
- 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, custodial operations, or a related role.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing for long periods and working in seasonal conditions.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Working knowledge of minor HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
