Home Inspector

Position Summary

A growing company is seeking individuals to join a team of professional home inspectors. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable, and presentable, and follows our standard process to complete an accurate, thorough quality home inspection and detailed report.

• Travel to home inspection sites, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods.
• Maintain a basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements.
• Comply with company policies and continually develop advanced technical knowledge of building science.
• Use solid computer technology skills for report writing and communications.
• Suggest possible improvements.
• Prepare reports and take photographs.

• Bilingual (preferable) English/Spanish.
• Completed home inspection classroom training and passed State exam.
• Licensed Home Inspector.
• 2+ years home inspection experience.
• Qualified to perform Standard Home Inspections, WDO/termite inspections, Wind Mitigation, 4‑point & pool inspections.
• Home Gauge knowledge is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and positive attitude.
• Reliable and ready to show up on time.
• Physically fit for climbing ladders, walking on roofs, accessing crawl spaces and attics, standing for long periods.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• May be required to enter homes with allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or other.
