Salary Range $37,265 per year

In this role, you will:

Travel to other campuses as needed
Lead and support other custodians in performing the cleaning functions.
Perform routine floor maintenance across campus facilities, including sweeping, dust mopping, vacuuming, stripping, and waxing.
Assists with logistical support by safely moving and rearranging furniture, equipment, books, and supplies as needed

This position operates in a fully onsite environment.
This position is eligible for Veteran’s Preference under Florida Statute
295.07(5)(a), F.S.

Essential Job Functions

Description of Job Function

Leads other custodians in performing the cleaning functions. Acts as crew leader for full-time and Staff custodial employees.

Dust mops, sweeps, vacuums, mops, strips, and waxes all floors as required.

Cleans glass doors, dust mops walls and light fixtures, cleans water fountains, sweeps stairs, empties all waste containers and ash trays, dusts desks in offices, and services coffee machines in conference rooms and lounges.

Cleans chalk boards and chairs in classrooms, maintains restrooms in excellent condition at all times, and maintains and cleans custodial supplies and equipment.

Assists in relocating furniture, books, etc.

Initiates work orders for minor building maintenance.
