Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary:

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you ensure members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. You are constantly on your feet and on the go, and maintaining a positive attitude will help customers have a great experience from start to finish.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies, and place orders to replenish supplies as needed.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $24.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances.
