Melaleuca is looking to hire an evening shift Custodian to provide custodial services for Melaleuca's Knoxville plant.
Shift
Hours:
3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities
- Vacuums carpeted floors and floor mats by using an industrial vacuum
- Sweeps, mops and dusts all areas of the building.
- Ensures that all trash is removed from the building and deposits it into the receptacle.
- Cleans all restrooms by sweeping & mopping floors, disinfecting the restrooms, (i.e., wiping & washing urinals, toilets, sinks, stalls, walls, floors, mirrors, etc.) with disinfectants.
- Cleans lunchroom by sweeping floors, disinfecting the lunchroom: by wiping & washing tables, chairs, counters, floors, walls, windows, etc.
- Cleans windows inside of the facility.
- Cleans offices including desks, chairs, carpet and chair mats.
- Cleans lobby area including the mezzanine and observatory windows.
- Ensures that the building is “Tour Ready” condition at all times.
- Performs duties of position in the work area as needed or other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning / custodial experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Walking, stretching, and lifting for the duration of the shift
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to climb stairs.
- Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
