JOB SUMMARY

The Heavy Duty Oiler/Serviceman is responsible for lubricating, performing safety checks, and monitoring fluid levels on trucks and equipment. This position assists heavy-duty mechanics during repairs and maintenance activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Service engine, drivetrain, hydraulic and cooling systems on Heavy Duty equipment and vehicles

Monitor fluid levels on all vehicles and equipment.

Perform brake inspections on air brake systems.

Maintain records and logs of fluid consumption.

Maintain schedules of all requests and work orders.

Assist mechanics during repairs and maintenance activities.

Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and the general work area.

Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.

Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

A valid (U.S issued, Alaska compliant) Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement is required.

A current DOT Medical Card is required.

A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.

The ability to work 84 hours a week on a 3x3 rotation is required.

At least five (5) years of experience with:
Cat and Cummins engines, Cat loaders, dozers, rock trucks and graders, Volvo loaders, Hitachi Excavators, Manlifts, Tucker Snow cats, Vacuum trailers and Kenworth Tractors is required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Five (5) or more years of experience working in a Construction or Industrial setting, the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environment is preferred.
