Description
This position cleans and services the main interior of the hospital. Strips, waxes, buffs floors and cleans carpets as required. Gathers and disposes of trash throughout the hospital. Vacuums carpeted floors and dusts. Cleans patient rooms, ER, OR and all ancillary areas. The Environmental Service Worker performs designated duties to ensure a clean and aseptic environment.
Position DetailsPer Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week as needed. Scheduled as required.
Pay Range: $18.85 - $26.39. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
ResponsibilitiesClean and service the interior of the hospital, including floors, carpets, patient rooms, ER, OR, and ancillary areas. Strip, wax, buff floors; vacuum carpeted floors; dust and dispose of trash. Maintain a clean and aseptic environment.
Required Qualifications- Upon request:
Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
- 6 months of housekeeping experience, hospital or commercial.
