Key Responsibilities:
Operational:
Generate leads and secure new/repeat business for weddings and social events.
Manage complete event lifecycle from enquiry to post-event guest feedback.
Liaise with direct clients and B2B partners; attend trade shows and networking events.
Work with internal teams (Culinary, F&B, Front Office) for seamless event execution.
Maintain a database of wedding/event vendors and partners (domestic & international).
Identify and manage auspicious dates calendar and collaborate with Revenue Manager for room/event space allocation.
Ensure guest-centric communication and simplified end-to-end service experience.
Review event files for accuracy in booking, contracts, themes, catering, and setup.
Monitor market trends and competition and share insights with the core team.
Achieve quarterly/yearly revenue targets for the social segment (weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc.).
Maintain accurate Envision CRM records and sales data.
Financial:
Assist in preparation of the annual operating budget and business plan.
Maintain proper documentation of all contracts and quotes as per Hyatt policies.
Collaborate with F&B on costing and pricing strategies aligned with client needs.
Marketing:
Provide feedback on marketing activities and evaluate ROI of campaigns.
Share event-based insights and sales strategies with the DOSM and Mar Com teams.
Personnel Management:
Support in building and developing a multi-skilled team to manage weddings.
Coach and mentor the team, identify training needs, and develop IDPs (Individual Development Plans).
Ensure adherence to hotel rules and guest service standards.
Administrative:
Ensure well-organized internal/external meetings and pre-convention events.
Keep all documentation, contracts, and financial records organized and secure.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of experience in wedding/social events sales or coordination within a luxury hotel or resort.
Degree/Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferred.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated growth mindset with a guest-first approach.
Proficiency in event sales systems (e.g., Envision , Delphi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
