IT Retail Services – Field Service Technician Supervisor Onsite Requirement

About the RoleKwik Trip’s IT Retail Services team is hiring a Field Service Technician Supervisor to support and develop our Field Service Technicians while ensuring high‑quality technical services across our retail locations. This role is fully onsite at our La Crosse Support Center, with required field visits approximately 1–2 times per month for coaching, evaluations, and quality assurance.
What You’ll Do- Oversee scheduling and approve technician timecards.
- Conduct 90‑day evaluations, annual performance reviews, and level‑up assessments.
- Manage onboarding, development, and performance accountability.
- Provide coaching, direction, and real‑time feedback to support technician growth.
- Deliver advanced training on installation, troubleshooting, and system best practices.
- Update and maintain training materials and documentation.
- Conduct onsite performance evaluations to assess skills and reinforce standards.
- Foster continuous learning and promote knowledge sharing.
- Observe technician work and verify adherence to installation and maintenance standards.
- Provide onsite coaching and address skill or safety concerns.
- Complete quality assurance checks on completed work.
- Visit priority locations to support setups, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with store teams, cross‑functional partners, and vendors.
- Vocational/Technical post‑high school training or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of technical field experience (retail systems, POS, cameras, networking, installations).
- 0–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Continued education or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, POS/back‑office systems, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of cabling, networking equipment, rack setups, switches, routers, and patch panels.
- Ability to lead training sessions and maintain accurate documentation.
- Proficiency with Service Now FSM for tasks and inventory tracking.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong decision‑making skills while onsite.
