We anticipate the need for one Temporary Helper located at our La Crosse Service Center in La Crosse, WI. The starting pay rate for this position is $27.58 hourly.
The scheduled working hours for this position arebetween the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm. This is a temporary, non-benefitted position.
The anticipated start date for this position will be in April and could potentially extend for the remainder of 2026.
SummaryThis position is responsible for Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). gas compliance work, to include surveys walking and atmospheric corrosion surveys, and painting of new or existing gas risers, gas meters or other gas facilities. Assisting with maintenance, installation and repair of gas facilities. Occasional heavier labor assisting gas crews.
Minimum Requirements- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Will be required to work overtime as necessary
- Must be committed to working safely and compliance with all company safety rules
- Must be able to walk in varying types of terrain
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of gas systems
- SAP experience/knowledge
- Previous experience with gas surveys
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $27.58 to $39.05 per hour
