Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the care and maintenance of interiors and exteriors of our facility and campus.
Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces including patching, stripping, sanding, ice blasting, pressure washing, etc.
- Apply finishes including epoxies, stains, paints, varnishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Perform exterior cleaning using pressure washing equipment.
- Perform light carpentry in preparation for projects.
- Perform concrete repairs, pothole repairs, brick repairs.
- Perform grounds maintenance including tree trimming, moving rock or soil.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes.
- Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with contractors or vendors as required for specialized services.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inventory of supplies.
- Support event setup, furniture moves, and minor custodial services as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED); relevant technical training or certifications preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in building maintenance or related.
- Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
