Viterbo University invites applications for a 3rd-Shift Custodian who is an eager and service-focused individual to work independently and with a team to insure the standards of cleanliness on the campus. The Custodian position keeps the premises of campus buildings, which includes residence halls, apartments, theatres, academic, and athletic buildings in clean and orderly condition. This is a full-time position eligible for all employee benefits.
The schedule for this position is Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am during the academic year and Monday-Friday 7am-3pm during the summer.
Including, but not limited to, cleaning and maintaining classrooms, offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, theatres, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, gym facilities, locker rooms, and other assigned areas.
This position requires regular standing, walking, hand use, reaching, and communication, as well as frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees must be able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally. University-provided uniform tops and required equipment must be worn throughout the school year. Work may occur in small office or dorm spaces, and some summer work areas may not be air-conditioned.
