Job Description

Come and join our Y team as our Maintenance Technician in La Crosse and help make a difference in our members’experiences by maintaining our building and property at the Dahl branch.

This position is a full-time hourly position working 40 hours per week and may include some evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Repair and perform maintenance on all equipment
  • Report, maintain and preventative procedures for swimming pool including pumps, filters, motors, plumbing and chemical balancing
  • Maintain exterior grounds including grass cutting, shrubs and snow removal
  • Electrical & Lighting—preventative maintenance, maintain, repair or replace lighting as needed
  • Maintain HVAC systems through filter changes, coil cleaning, and preventive maintenance
  • Conduct schedule preventative maintenance on association assets as required
  • Ability to use a computerized maintenance ticket software system
Requirements
  • Two years of education in a related field and / or 3+ years’ experience in a related field
  • Experience in an carpentry, aquatic facility or pool operations is preferred
  • Technical skills in the areas of electrical, controls, pneumatics, plumbing, HVAC and boiler operations
