Nazareth Academy is seeking a full‑time Art teacher to fill a maternity leave position at the start of the 2025‑2026 school year. This position includes teaching five classes and supervising a study hall. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7:45 to 3:30 pm.
The position consists of the following responsibilities: lesson planning, teaching, and grading classwork generated in five Art classes. The ability to plan and implement high‑quality, engaging, and rigorous learning experiences in a block schedule is a priority, as is collaborating with other teachers within the department and adhering to all department policies. Nazareth is committed to educating the whole student; therefore, cultivating positive relationships with students and a safe and encouraging learning environment is essential.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts degree (Master's preferred)
- Valid Professional Educator License
- Art endorsement or its equivalent
Preferred Experience:
- Teaching or student teaching at the high school level
- Ability to use technology in instruction and for student learning
- Familiarity with 1:1 iPad use in the classroom
- Familiarity with Google Classroom and Google Apps for Education
