Nazareth is seeking a full-time science teacher for the 26-27 school year. The ability to plan and implement high-quality, engaging, and rigorous learning experiences is a priority, as is collaboration with other teachers within the department and adherence to all department policies. Nazareth is committed to educating the whole student; therefore, the ability to cultivate positive relationships with students and to cultivate a safe and encouraging learning environment is essential.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts degree (Master’s preferred)
- Valid Professional Educator License
- Science endorsement or its equivalent
- Background in physics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience teaching high school physics and chemistry
- Teaching or student teaching at the high school level
- Ability to use technology in instruction and for student learning
- Familiarity with 1:1 iPad use in the classroom
- Familiarity with Google Classroom and Google Apps for Education
