About the Role
We are seeking an experienced 3D AutoCAD Detailer to bridge the gap between design and production. In this role, you'll create detailed, production-ready drawings that translate design specs into clear technical documentation for both upstream and downstream teams.
Responsibilities- Create production-ready drawings in AutoCAD, CAD, and ExpoCAD - including plan views, elevations, isometric views, section views, and detail views
- Follow standard layout processes based on templates and SOPs
- Generate CNC layouts and DXF files as needed
- Compile complete bills of materials (BOM) with part numbers
- Identify structures requiring an engineering stamp and coordinate with leadership
- Organize files in Autodesk Vault with standardized naming
- Track job status and time using Passport, Workfront, and Kronos
- Communicate proactively with leadership and cross-functional teams
- Extensive proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD, including modeling tools and dimensioning commands
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Vault and Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills and attention to deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- 1+ years of experience in tradeshow/face-to-face marketing or manufacturing drafting preferred
- AutoCAD Certified Professional required
- Extensive proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD (modeling tools and dimensioning commands)
- Experience with ExpoCAD
- Autodesk Vault
- Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Ability to create BOMs, CNC layouts, and DXF files
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
