3D AutoCAD Detailer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced 3D AutoCAD Detailer to bridge the gap between design and production. In this role, you'll create detailed, production-ready drawings that translate design specs into clear technical documentation for both upstream and downstream teams.

• Create production-ready drawings in AutoCAD, CAD, and ExpoCAD - including plan views, elevations, isometric views, section views, and detail views
• Follow standard layout processes based on templates and SOPs
• Generate CNC layouts and DXF files as needed
• Compile complete bills of materials (BOM) with part numbers
• Identify structures requiring an engineering stamp and coordinate with leadership
• Organize files in Autodesk Vault with standardized naming
• Track job status and time using Passport, Workfront, and Kronos
• Communicate proactively with leadership and cross-functional teams

• Extensive proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD, including modeling tools and dimensioning commands
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Vault and Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills and attention to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• 1+ years of experience in tradeshow/face-to-face marketing or manufacturing drafting preferred
• AutoCAD Certified Professional required

• Extensive proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD (modeling tools and dimensioning commands)
• Experience with ExpoCAD
• Autodesk Vault
• Adobe Acrobat Professional
• Ability to create BOMs, CNC layouts, and DXF files
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
