Located in LaGrange, Illinois, across the street from the historic Stone Avenue train station, our main branch is an easy commute from Chicago and the near-west suburbs via the Metra West BNSF train line and nearby expressways. We also have branch offices in Western Springs and West Chicago. Our Credit department is a close-knit group that works collaboratively with our Loan Officers and Loan Operations teams.

What you will do!
You will assist management in making informed credit decisions regarding existing and potential commercial borrowers while adhering to Bank policies, procedures, and best practices, along with all State and Federal rules and regulations.
How you will do it!
Spread moderately difficult to complex financial statements and conduct thorough analysis of applications for commercial credit requests and for internal loan review.
Calculate debt service coverage analyses and assessments of collateral.
Investigate moderately difficult to complex credit records and related financial information.
Review real estate appraisals and environmental reports.
Prepare loan presentations and make recommendations based on financial findings.
Monitor borrowing base calculations.
Independently contact customers and accountants relative to loan requests.
Complete special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications you will need!
College Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and/ or equivalent background and experience.
3+ years of Commercial Credit Analyst experience.
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial statements and general accounting.
Strong computer proficiency – Windows and Microsoft Word/Excel Detail oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy with the ability to meet established deadlines.
Exceptional analytical ability and a problem-solving mindset.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

The expected pay range for this position is $65,000- $95,000 per year based on background and experience. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon factors including but not limited to the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Benefits include:
