** Position Summary*
* The R&D Technician supports laboratory operations by managing raw material inventory, assisting with routine laboratory activities, and maintaining accurate technical documentation. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
** Responsibilities*
* + Manage laboratory raw material inventory, including receiving, storing, organizing, and handling materials safely.
+ Lift, transport, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
+ Provide general laboratory support, including preparing materials, maintaining work areas, and assisting with routine laboratory activities.
+ Accurately record, maintain, and transfer technical information using manual and electronic systems.
+ Follow laboratory safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
+ Assist with troubleshooting routine laboratory issues and escalate concerns as appropriate.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
** Qualifications*
* + High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Prior laboratory experience preferred.
+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Understanding of laboratory safety practices and proper handling of chemicals and raw materials.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and laboratory needs.
+ Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
