Job Description
As a R&D Tech II here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in supporting research and development activities by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and assisting in the development of innovative technologies. You will contribute to advancing Honeywell's cutting-edge solutions and help drive technical excellence within the team.
In this role, you will impact the successful execution of R&D projects by providing technical support, ensuring quality and accuracy in experimental work, and collaborating with engineers and scientists to bring new technologies from concept to reality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing following established procedures.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and chemical inventory.
- Perform basic maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
- Verify data quality.
- Communicate with internal customers on data and methods.
- Some limited weekend coverage.
You Must Have
- Minimum associates degree in scientific discipline, or 2+ years of experience in analytical laboratory or chemical field.
We Value
- Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline.
- Analytical chemistry experience in techniques such as organic physical properties such as density, cold flow properties, wet chemical analysis including titrations, combustion elemental analysis, chromatography.
- Strong analytical problem solving skills with attention to detail.
- Scientific writing and presentation skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of and adherence to laboratory safety protocols.
- Experience handling hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals.
