Summary

Assist the Sales effort by providing customers and Sales Reps with pricing, delivery and product information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Regional sales leaders with product development activities. SDPR follow-up, information gathering, rep communication, BU communication.
  • Prepare and submit pricing requests for non-standard items.
  • Prepare and transmit quotations to customers and Sales Reps.
  • Receive and review Purchase Orders for accuracy.
  • Review pricing and supply pricing in accordance with established pricing lists.
  • Process order amendments and acknowledgements.
  • Provide customers and Sales Reps with delivery information on a timely basis.
  • Understand the Grayhill product and part numbering system.
  • Fulfill customer and Sales Rep requests for product information, including samples and literature.
  • Recommend substitutions for non-stock, standard items when applicable.
  • Recognize a potential distributor opportunity and make the appropriate referrals to the customer.
  • Authorize the return of defective material in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process returned material paperwork as specified in the Sales Procedure Manual.
  • Assist in the follow up of corrective analysis responses to customers.
  • Travel to strategic customer locations as needed or determined by Sales leadership.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the VP-Sales and Marketing, Regional Sales Leaders, Strategic Account Managers and Account Managers as necessary.
  • Coordinate special projects, assignments and duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.

    A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training.
