Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on machinery and systems.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Use hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts.
  • Assemble, install, adjust, and calibrate mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment.
  • Dismantle, repair, rebuild, and replace equipment and parts as needed.
  • Adhere to all plant safety policies.
  • Participate in plant-wide safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to junior maintenance colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Execute preventive maintenance on machines and electrical cabinets, including cleaning, tightening terminals, replacing damaged devices, organizing cables, ensuring proper grounding, replacing sensors, and replacing control/power cables.
  • Manage work orders on the eMaint platform and report all executed tasks on the machines.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot programmable logic controller (PLC) input/output card issues.
  • Execute predictive maintenance on main power cabinets using a thermographic camera.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults on machines and electrical devices.
  • Perform root cause analysis for major breakdowns on machines.
  • Replace and configure servo drives, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
  • Replace and troubleshoot 480

    VAC motors and 120

    VAC motors.
  • Replace and troubleshoot servo motors.
Education and Experience

Typically possesses a high school diploma, a college degree, or technical training such as Industrial Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance Electrician, Automation Technician, Instrumentation Technician, or Mechatronics Technician. Requires 5+ years of recent experience in an industrial/manufacturing maintenance position.

Preferred Electrical Industrial License Knowledge and Skills
  • Select and operate appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks.
  • Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and effective communication of issues and solutions.
  • Familiarity with PNP and NPN sensors, analog and digital control signals.
  • Handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Logical reasoning.
  • Troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Work effectively under limited supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
  • Familiar with NFPA
    70 Electrical codes.
  • Proficient in electrical print interpretation, replacement, and troubleshooting of devices.
  • Experience calculating and replacing main circuit breakers.
  • Familiar with arc‑flash and arc‑blast concepts.
  • Use machine manuals/drawings to execute preventive maintenance and order parts.
  • Familiar with at least one PLC troubleshooting/programming software such as RSLogix
    5000, TIA Portal, Studio
    5000, SIMATIC Manager.
  • Familiar with Profibus, Ethernet, and PROFINET networks.
  • Experience troubleshooting automatic machines.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of maintenance concepts (corrective, predictive, preventive).
  • Experience with CMMS software.
Compensation Range

The pay for this position is $41.33 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short‑term incentive.
