* ** Job Purpose*
* We are seeking a reliable and motivated  
** Shop Helper
** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the facility grounds and assisting various departments within the modification and manufacturing areas.

** Essential

Duties & Responsibilities *
* +  
** Facility Maintenance:
** Perform required manufacturing facility housekeeping and maintain shop grounds.

+  
** Equipment Operation:
** Safely operate forklifts as well as overhead cranes (up to 25-ton capacity) and jib cranes.

+  
** Mechanical Assistance:
** Perform light mechanical work using standard hand tools.

+  
** Production Support:
** Work around machining tools, welding equipment, and hydrostatic test machines to support all functions of the modification process (welding, testing, and machining).

+  
** Material Handling:
** Safely assist with the loading and unloading of large valves weighing up to 30,000 lbs.

+  
** Initiative:
** Act as a self-motivator and take the initiative to keep the workflow moving efficiently.

** High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

* Experience:

** Any combination of training and experience that provides the necessary knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties will be considered.

** Additional Qualifications*
* + Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.

+ Proficient in reading and speaking the English language to effectively communicate with team members, understand and interpret safety instructions, and respond to inquiries.

+ Ability to understand and comply with company guidelines, expectations, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest policies.
