Maintenance Manager

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 + Performance Bonus

We are seeking a hands-on, people-focused Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for our brownfield manufacturing facility in Lacassine, Louisiana
.

This role offers the opportunity to lead maintenance efforts in a facility with new, state-of-the-art equipment
, while building a high-performing maintenance organization focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

The facility operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week
, and this position reports directly to the Corporate Maintenance Manager
, who oversees multiple manufacturing locations.

• Lead all maintenance operations supporting a 24/5 manufacturing environment.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for maintenance technicians across three shifts.
• Build a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
• Address employee performance issues, resolve conflicts, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Partner closely with Production, Engineering, and Plant Leadership to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency.
• Manage maintenance scheduling, work order prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Oversee spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available while optimizing inventory costs.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, PM completion, equipment reliability, and maintenance costs.

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent maintenance leadership experience.
• Five or more years of maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience supervising maintenance teams in a multi-shift operation.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop technicians.
• Experience addressing employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience managing spare parts inventory and maintenance storeroom operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with CMMS systems is preferred.
