US Groundskeeper​/Porter

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Brotton Place has an immediate opening for an entry level Groundskeeper! Our team members are high performers that care about customer service and exceed expectations. The Groundskeeper plays a critical role in our success by ensuring the physical aspects of the community are maintained, standards are met regarding the grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal, and by providing support to the service team members.

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings and ensure common areas and amenities remain neat.
• Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to the make‑ready process, transfer trash to dumpsters or storage areas, and clean and maintain those areas.
• Complete assigned minor and routine service requests from the Service Supervisor or Community Manager, and assist the make‑ready specialist in the turnover process.
• Change all locks according to the property policy and ensure gates to all pool areas work according to codes and safety standards.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary.
• Inform supervisors of any hazards or potentially dangerous situations for residents, team members, guests and others.
• Demonstrate customer‑service skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering questions, and addressing maintenance service complaints sensitively.
• Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies by attending routine safety meetings, completing required OSHA and other safety training, and reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately.

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
• Work inside and outside in all weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet.
• Push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties, attend training, or meet business needs.
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and be available for “call”.

The hourly range for this position is $21.75–$23.00.

• Corporate Positions:
  In addition to the base salary, eligible for participation in quarterly or annual bonus programs based on individual and company performance.
• On‑site Property Positions:
  In addition to the base salary, eligible for participation in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
