Location: Ladson, SC
Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Seeking a dependable Industrial Janitor to support cleaning and facility maintenance operations at an industrial site in Ladson, SC. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment through routine cleaning, waste removal, floor care, and general housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain building interiors and assigned facility areas.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
- Clean carpets and perform spot treatments as needed.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and maintain waste disposal areas.
- Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
- Dust and clean furniture, walls, blinds, ceilings, vents, windows, mirrors, and glass partitions.
- Prepare and use cleaning solutions according to established procedures.
- Operate cleaning equipment and power tools safely.
- Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain janitorial equipment and storage areas in an organized manner.
- Support special cleaning projects and client events as required.
- Follow all safety, quality, security, and compliance procedures.
- Minimum 1 year of industrial or commercial cleaning experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain facility/security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required for facility access.
- Valid Driver's License may be required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Previous experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, stretching, and reaching.
- Ability to walk extensively throughout the facility during the shift.
- Regularly lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Ability to distinguish colors used in cleaning procedures.
- Must wear required PPE, including:
- Steel-toe safety shoes
- Safety glasses
- Gloves
- Hard hats
- Other protective equipment as required
