We are seeking a people‑focused Cleaner / Housekeeper for our 55 and older, active adult community –
Affinity at Lafayette
. The Cleaner will be responsible for general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the community.

• Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing residents’ way of life while providing excellent customer service and a supportive home environment.
• Build strong rapport with residents.
• Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces, and common areas daily.
• Clean office spaces on a schedule set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Use the apartment cleaning checklist to clean vacant apartment homes after each move‑out.
• Clean and organize the pool house, including straightening chairs, cleaning public bathrooms, and vacuuming and dusting amenity spaces attached to the pool house building.
• Replace used towels in the pool area with freshly laundered towels daily.
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Assist in removing debris from outside public spaces, amenity spaces, and common area, and empty public trash cans.
• Clean elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Comply with all company policies/procedures and Fair Housing laws.

A customer‑service‑focused Cleaner who can work collaboratively with the site team and build rapport with residents.

• Team player who embraces a “we over me” approach.
• Determined, ambitious, and self‑motivated.
• Excellent communication skills; proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Janitorial experience in hotel or residential management strongly preferred.
• Computer skills including email, Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to navigate web‑based trainings and other programs.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
• High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Reliable means of transportation.
