Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm; flexibility with schedule on evenings and weekends based on business needs and current project
WORK LOCATIONOnsite: 2600 Greenbush St, Lafayette, IN 47904
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment and circuits, including power distribution systems, motor control centers and backup emergency switch gear.
- Follows appropriate preventative maintenance schedules to ensure proper maintenance and maximum life of the equipment.
- May participate in customer service activities related to electrical distribution, nurse call systems, TV systems, public address systems and other equipment and systems.
- Reports problems through the work order system and suggests solutions to systems and equipment.
- May participate in the planning and execution process for remodeling and construction.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Formal Electrical Training in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Requires ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
- Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations.
- May be required to furnish own hand tools.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.
- Requires experience in commercial or institutional environment working with electrical equipment and circuitry.
