Are you looking for a consistent evening schedule with weekends off? We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to join our team in Lafayette, Indiana. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, teachers, and staff.

• Classroom & Office Care:
  Empty trash and recycling, dust surfaces, wipe down desks, and sanitize high-touch points.
• Floor Maintenance:
  Sweep, dust mop, damp mop, and vacuum floors in classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Restroom Sanitation:
  Thoroughly clean and disinfect restrooms, fixtures, mirrors, and replenish soap and paper supplies.
• Common Areas:
  Clean and sanitize cafeterias, breakrooms, and gym areas as needed.
• Security:
  Ensure facility doors and windows are securely locked at the end of the shift.

• Reliability:
  Proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Attention to Detail:
  Ability to follow a cleaning checklist and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Independence:
  Capable of working efficiently with minimal direct supervision.
• Physical Stamina:
  Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout a 6-hour shift.
• Background Check:
  Must be willing to undergo a standard background check required for working in a school facility.
• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required — we will train the right candidate!
