General Labor, Maintenance Worker
** COMMUNICATION WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL ** PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK
Performs manual labor requiring more skill than that of the Laborer I class or some knowledge of methods and materials to be used in the area of work assignment. May be required to train on various tasks. List generated will be used to fill vacancies at The Wetlands Golf Course, the Heymann Performing Arts Center, Drainage, and the TRB department. Future vacancies in other areas of the organization may also be filled using this list.
DESIRABLEQUALIFICATIONS
Some experience in public works, utilities, parks, recreation, or related maintenance, repair, and minor construction activities; or related training and experience. Vacancies at the Heymann Performing Arts Center require regularly working variable hours, nights and weekends. Future vacancies filled using the list generated from this exam may have other areas of assignment.
Some positions require a valid Louisiana driver’s license prior to appointment, Class D or E, depending on area of assignment.
No test.
