Overview

Part Time Evening Custodian – Lafayette (Cleaning Services) – responsibilities include cleaning facilities, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety protocols.

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided Service Master products, tools and procedures
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required

• Constantly standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• 1–2 years’ experience as custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required
• Will provide on‑job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Must be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi‑tasked role
• Contribute to a positive work climate with pleasant attitude
• Be dependable, on time, wear uniform, treat all co‑workers and customers with courtesy and respect
