Responsible for maintaining mechanical and pipeline equipment in optimum operating conditions. Performs line locates and pipeline inspections. Performs oil spill response and clean up. Trains less experienced technicians. Manages company assets, such as vehicles, tools, and test equipment. Supervises contract work. Maintains company's high standard for safety and workmanship. Must carry a cell phone, and be available for mandatory on-call 24/7, nights, holidays, and weekends to support maintenance, operations and emergency response activities.

THIS JOB IS LOCATED IN SULPHUR, LOUISIANA

• High School Diploma plus 2 years of pipeline or oil industry experience.
• Proven trouble shooting and technical ability.
• Understanding and trouble shooting of rotating equipment(pumps and tank mixers) other mechanical equipment.
• Ability to evaluate and resolve a wide variety of problem situations. Ability to train and teach other personnel.
• Ability to perform multiple pipeline functions.
• Ability to be flexible and innovative in problem solving, thinking, and working.
• Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
