Maintenance Supervisor / Facilities Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (also called Facilities Manager
) who is skilled in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall, masonry, and appliance repair and installation. You enjoy mentoring your team, developing new maintenance techniques and innovations, and working with outside vendors. You are detail oriented, organized, and can fix another’s mistake promptly.
This position offers $29.50 to $32.50 per hour, with bonus potential, and benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matches, vacation & personal time off, major holidays, and an in‑house Training Academy.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of daily apartment maintenance, emergency repairs, unit turnovers, and the asset preservation objectives of ownership.
- Lead the maintenance and grounds team, manage scheduling, and ensure the highest standards of California living for our residents.
- Collaborate with vendors and implement new maintenance techniques to keep the community running smoothly.
- Provide detailed, organized maintenance plans and address soft problems quickly.
- Minimum 2+ years in the multifamily industry with at least 1+ year of supervisory experience leading a maintenance or grounds team.
- High school diploma or GED; college degree is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook;
Yardi Voyager experience is an advantage. - Calm, decisive in high‑energy or emergency environments.
- Provide the last seven (7) years of employment history, including periods of unemployment.
