Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

Position:
Maintenance Worker (Full time and Permanent)

• Act as a champion for safety for the site.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Respond to safety and environmental hazards to eliminate them and maintain compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Ensure equipment/facility maintenance is planned, scheduled, and performed in a cost-effective manner and in compliance with maintenance standards.
• Ensure parts and appropriate tools are available to perform maintenance work.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data from reliability‑centered maintenance tools (oil analysis, vibration monitoring, alignment, thermography, etc.).
• Manage asset lists, PM compliance and regulatory schedule via CMMS.
• Maintain HIPPO program to track all maintenance work orders.
• Assist production personnel with identifying system/equipment issues and solutions (troubleshooting).
• Recommend and implement changes to component specifications (materials, tolerances, speed, etc.).
• Maintain and advise on the use and disposition of stock items, rental equipment, etc.
• Responsible for scheduling all regulatory inspections, such as pressure vessel testing, MCC infrared testing, cranes, and man‑lifts.
• Assist with preparation of long‑range planning, including infrastructure and risk assessments, five‑year capital plan, employee training plans, and budgeting.
• Act as a fill‑in to other plant positions when needed to ensure shift coverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Experience with low/medium voltage distribution equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and proposing solutions.
