Our client, a facility management organization dedicated to maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming environments, is seeking a Building Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and strong problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Building Maintenance Tech
Location: Lake Wales, FL
Pay Range: $23
Shift: 7am - 3:45pm, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including light plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and building systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain grounds and common areas to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Operate and maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.
What's Needed?
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs using hand tools.
- Strong organizational skills to keep accurate records and documentation.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
- Basic knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Prior experience in building maintenance is not required but beneficial.
