THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to help maintain the safety, reliability, and operational efficiency of our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, completing repairs, and addressing facility maintenance needs. The ideal candidate is an experienced maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who can work independently, prioritize competing needs, and respond effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
WHATYOU'LL DO
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Follow and maintain preventative maintenance schedules, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and other routine servicing.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions, replace defective components, and complete repairs using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring instruments.
- Perform facility maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, lighting, HVAC systems, and building infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment conditions, repairs, and inspections.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure scheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs are completed on time.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to schedule maintenance while minimizing disruption to operations.
- Communicate maintenance issues, recommendations, and project updates to supervisors and team members.
- Calibrate machinery and equipment to maintain accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and efficiency and recommend upgrades, modifications, or replacements.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations and take appropriate action to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide guidance and training to other maintenance personnel and team members on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures, regulations, and company policies.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 years of age or older (18 in New York).
- Valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience.
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
- Vocational training or technical certifications in electrical, mechanical, industrial maintenance, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, and other technical systems used in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and respond quickly to maintenance needs.
- Strong understanding of equipment safety protocols and maintenance regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and with third-party vendors.
- Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a highly regulated environment.
This position may be based in a dispensary and/or cultivation environment and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced setting where accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail are essential.
The work environment may include exposure to:
