The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety for residents, families, team members, and visitors throughout the community. Duties include cleaning common areas, resident apartments, laundry, and ensuring proper handling of biohazardous waste. The role also involves scheduling adherence, equipment maintenance, emergency procedures, and communication with supervisors.

• Cleans resident apartments as assigned.
• Cleans all common areas such as halls, landings, stairs, activity areas, lobbies, elevators, and model units.
• Cleans vacant units.
• Ensures cleanliness of public restrooms.
• Maintains housekeeping and laundry carts.
• Washes and dries community laundry using appropriate products.
• Follows posted work schedule, arrives on time, and wears correct work attire.
• Adheres to emergency procedures and safe chemical handling.
• Stores chemicals properly and maintains a clean laundry room.
• Reports on‑job injuries to Plant Operations Director or Business Office Director.
• Communicates effectively with Housekeeping Supervisor, Plant Operations Director, and other team members.
• Notifies supervisors when supplies are low or need reordering.

• High School diploma preferred (GED accepted).
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Physically able to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 40‑50 pounds if necessary.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods.
