Description
* cleaning warehouse, restrooms, offices, outside areas or trailers
* dumping trash and picking up damaged product
* keeping work area clean
* operating and maintaining the sweeper/scrubber
* operating powered industrial equipment to load or unload trailers and move pallets or merchandise to designated areas
* preparing paperwork
* setting up the receiving dock
* sorting pallets, product or equipment
* sweeping and mopping floors
* assisting in other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
* be at least 18 years old
* ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
* successfully complete a Work Attitude Survey (WAS2)
* ability to obtain and maintain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before his or her start date in the position)
* ability to use cleaning chemicals and powered industrial equipment that require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds
* ability to handle and prioritize a variety of tasks and responsibilities
* ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
* ability to stack product of varying weights
* ability to bend, stoop, and twist
* ability to sit, stand and do repetitive work for long periods of time
* ability to read, write, identify and verify numbers
* ability to work under strict time requirements
* ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
* ability to work well with others and be a team member
* obvious enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work, and a
* commitment to Publix and our mission.
